National FFA Alumni

State Leaders Conference

 

July 14 - 18, 2010

 

Illinois has been chosen as the 2010 site for the National FFA Alumni State Leaders Conference.  The conference will be held on July 14 - 18, 2010 in Moline, Illinois.  Please mark your calendars now and plan to attend this great event. 

 

The conference is a great opportunity for participants to meet and interact with Alumni members from across the states. Affiliate activities and ideas will flow throughout the week as participants share with one another the challenges and triumphs in each of their states. Participants will engage in a variety of workshops related to advocacy, affiliate development, corporate partnership, and membership development.  They also will find time to enjoy local tours.  Illinois has been chosen as the location for the 2010 State Leaders conference, so we hope that all of the alumni members in Illinois will be able to attend this great event, be sure to save the dates of July 14 - 18, 2010, to join us in Moline!

Illinois FFA Alumni Annual Meeting and Auction

 

February 5 - 6, 2010

 

Northfield Inn & Suites in Springfield, IL

 

Be sure to note on your calendar the Illinois FFA Alumni Annual meeting and auction will be held on Friday, February 5 and Saturday, February 6, 2010.  The meeting and auction will take place at the Northfield Inn & Suites in Springfield, IL.

 

Thanks to all of the auction supporters last year, we were able to raise over $20,000 from the auction.  We would like to beat that record this year.  But, in order to do so, we need the assistance of all of our alumni members.  If you are able to donate any items to the auction or better yet, you are able to get items donated by a local business, please let Tammy at the Illinois FFA Center know.  You may contact her at 217-753-3328 or by e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  We will be advertising the auction beginning October 1 and will be including all of those items (and companies that donated) in the advertisement and on the Illinois FFA Alumni website.  So, please, let Tammy know of your donations as soon as possible!  We appreciate the support of all of our alumni members.

The scholarship auction is the primary funding source for the alumni scholarships that are awarded to FFA students to attend various leadership events.  Your donations and bids are appreciated.
